Seeking Social Worker @ The Center for Victims of Torture in Atlanta

The Center for Victims of Torture is hiring a Social Worker to provide intensive case management and social rehabilitation services to survivors of war trauma or torture from diverse geographic, cultural and social backgrounds who are resettled refugees or asylum seekers. This position will pursue opportunities beyond direct client care in areas such as resource building related to client social service needs. The Social Worker will provide screening of new clients as well as information and referral services. Social Worker will also manage interpreter and volunteer programs. Position is located in Atlanta, Georgia.

Seeking Licensed Mental Health Professionals at GSU's Counseling & Testing Center

The Georgia State University Counseling & Testing Center is seeking qualified licensed mental health professionals to join the GSU team! We are recruiting counselors to serve on all campuses including, Newton, Dunwoody, Alpharetta, Clarkston, Decatur and Atlanta. The working environment is a fast-paced and counselors will provide individual, couples, and group counseling to Georgia State’s diverse student population. We welcome providers from multiple disciplines including Licensed Psychologists, LMFT’s, LPC’s and LCSW's.

Our ideal candidates value multicultural competence and holistic approaches. They are passionate about service and have a strong desire to work with the collegiate population. We will give special consideration to providers with experience with outpatient young adult populations, international individuals, trauma and/or substance use and crisis intervention. Although not required, we are also looking for someone interested in working 24 hours per week. Clinicians who can provide therapy in more than one language are also desired.

Fleurish Psychotherapy, a group private practice in Decatur, is looking for part-time and/or full-time psychotherapists to join us. Our office is in the heart of downtown Decatur. Requirements include being fully licensed in the State of Georgia with at least 1 year post-independent-licensure experience, preferably with private practice experience and registered with CAQH. Previous paneling with BCBS or other insurance panels is a plus. Compensation is percentage based on income received, and paid out monthly.

Fleurish will provide a steady stream of referrals, but candidate must be willing to also market themselves (with our support, of course!) to grow their referral base and recognition in the community.
