Dr. Banov is is a Board Certified Addiction Medicine Specialist who provides Addiction Medicine consultation and treatment in support of your behavioral treatment program. Dr. Banov provides evaluation and outpatient, office-based medical treatment of Substance Abuse (Opiate Dependence, Alcoholism, Benzodiazepine Dependence, Nicotine Dependence, Cocaine and Marijuana Use) and Process Addictions (Gambling, Internet Addiction, and Sex Addiction). Dr. Banov is SAMHSA certified to prescribe buprenorphine for the outpatient treatment of opiate dependence. He also offers outpatient alcohol detox for selected patients.
